2020 Toledo Heart Ball
October 20, 2020 | Presented Digitally Via Zoom
#ToledoHeartBall
The American Heart Association’s top priority is the health and well-being of individuals and their families today and in the future, in every community, everywhere. We are deeply concerned about the public health crisis facing our country. Our mission – to be a relentless force for a world of healthier, longer lives – is more important than ever. Millions of people are counting on us for science-based information, health resources, community programs and patient support. We are continuing our mission-critical work in these challenging times and we know that people with cardiovascular diseases are more likely to be seriously impacted by the virus than others.
With the pandemic keeping people at home, the American Heart Association is embracing a new approach to Heart Ball and moving the event to a digital experience!
The 23rd annual Heart Ball takes place on Tuesday, October 20th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and will bring Toledo’s corporate, medical, and professional elite together virtually during this time of social distancing. Get dressed up in your ball gown or get comfy in your pajamas and join us from your home for this year’s digital experience.
The evening is sure to be entertaining and will feature a silent auction, highlight the important work being done in our local community, and celebrate AHA’s survivors. Proceeds for this year’s Heart Ball will go towards furthering the mission of the American Heart Association and will specifically support 3,000 local students and 500 local teachers with vaping and e-cigarette toolkits in our fight against the vaping epidemic throughout the local area.
Although we will be physically apart, we have never been more united through our mission to save lives.
