Ateeq Haseeb MD, MBA, CPE, FASNM
Ateeq Haseeb MD, MBA, CPE, FASNM is a Pediatric Neurologist & Epileptologist at Mercy Children’s Hospital in Toledo Ohio. Dr. Haseeb obtained his medical degree from the NTR University of Health Services in India. His residencies were in Pediatrics at Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, IL and in Adult & Pediatric Neurology at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. He also completed additional fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology/Epilepsy program at the Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, MI. Dr. Haseeb possesses multiple board certifications in the fields of Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Epilepsy and Intraoperative monitoring.
Dr. Haseeb continues to serve the children and adults of Toledo region with Neurological conditions. With his enthusiasm to continue to learn and service Toledo better, Dr Haseeb pursued further education in a Master’s of Business Administration program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI and graduated in 2015. He is the Medical Director of the Mercy Northern Region Telemedicine program which is being designed to improve the health care of our community. He has also initiated the Vagal Nerve Stimulator program as well as Spasticity programs at Mercy Children’s Hospital which has been a rewarding service to the children with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
Dr Haseeb is dedicated in taking care of children with special needs and participates in the Neurological care of children from several residential nursing homes in the Toledo region. He is also a Board member for the Family Child Abuse Prevention Center (FCAPC) in Toledo and participates in the programs for drive against women and child abuse. He volunteers in activities and fundraisers designed to support local community events and contributes in projects aimed at creating awareness for leading debilitating conditions like stroke, heart disease as well as epilepsy. His dedication to his job ensures that he is always available to provide confident, and experienced medical care to the community.
